Taryn Hughes is a Compassion Fatigue Therapist and founder of NYC-based, Forest Hughes & Associates. She brings a deep and personal understanding of the complexity and exhaustion inherent in serving and protecting others, as well as more than 15 years of experience in direct trauma support.

FH&A’s, healing-centered trainings protect employees’ and leaders’ mental health on the job without stigma. These programs have been found to reduce anxiety, depression, traumatic stress, and suicide, while increasing retention, motivation, and inclusion.

She is specialized in resolving compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma, moral injury, and empathic strain within the workplace.

As the support for servant leaders and trainer for thousands of helping professionals, Taryn is changing the way we take care of leaders and human resource professionals.
