Deborah Korenstein, M.D., is the Senior Medical Director for Mount Sinai Solutions, a division of Mount Sinai Health System that delivers care directly to employers and unions. Dr. Korenstein is responsible for clinical oversight of the health centers and ensuring that the highest standards of care and expectations of our employer partners across all of care sites are met. She also collaborates with sales and product development teams to ensure that we remain on the leading edge of healthcare solutions for our employer partners.
Dr. Korenstein is a professor of medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine. She completed her undergraduate medical education at Columbia University and her Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine with Harvard. For the last 6 years she has served as Chief, General Internal Medicine Service, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
Deborah recently returned to Mount Sinai, where she previously worked in several roles in the Department of Medicine including as an Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency and Director of the Primary Care Residency. She lives in Manhattan with her husband, demonic cat, and (sometimes) her college-student son and recent college-grad daughter.
