Loren L. Forrest, Jr. is a partner in Holland & Knight’s New York office and practices exclusively in the Labor, Employment Group where he represents management in all aspects of employment litigation, labor relations and human resources counseling. Mr. Forrest has extensive experience litigating employment issues and representing management before state and federal courts in New York and Connecticut, the NLRB, the EEOC, the DOL, the NYS Division of Human Rights and the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities. Mr. Forrest has extensive experience on employee accommodations and employee discipline. He advises employers on anti-harassment training, racial and sexual harassment investigations, employee handbooks, wage and hour compliance, and traditional labor matters. Mr. Forrest provides counsel on white collar exemptions, employee misclassifications and complex overtime calculations. He also advises hospitality clients and home healthcare agencies on tip sharing, tip pooling, service charges and commission-based pay issues.
