Chris Corie-Chavis is a Certified Coach and Consultant with over twenty years of experience in Corporate America. Currently, she is the President and Sr. Consultant for The Core Leadership Group. Specializing in leadership and team development, she assist leaders in maximizing their personal effectiveness and shifts teams from functional status to high performance. Chris received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland and a Master's Degree in Human Resources Development from Bowie State University in Bowie, Maryland. She holds a number of certifications including Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Senior Certified Professional in Human Resources (SHRM-SCP), Certified Professional Executive Coach (CPC), Certified Diversity Professional (CDP) and Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner (ELI-MP). Chris is currently pursuing her doctorate degree in Organizational Conflict Analysis and Resolution.
